I am currently a Theater For Youth major at the College of Charleston. I am a Junior hoping to graduate in May of 2012 to go on to do Teach for America. I took this class as a way to familiarze myself with adobe and to improve my skills with publishing as that will be a major part of my job in marketing for theater companies.
I feel that throughout the course I learned a great deal about the workings of Indesign and photshop as well as familarized myself with HTML coding. All of the skills I learned in this class, along with my theater background will combine conviently to help me become a good PR representative or marketing head for theater companies.
About the Class
The class started out more concerned with Indesign, and focused on how to create rastor and vector images from scratch. However, the second half of the semester focused on HTML coding and website design. Finally, the class has ended in a merger of the two which is this website. The creation of this website is designed to show off all of the images we created in the first half of the semseter with the website design we learned in the second half.
