Creating A Drop Shadow – My Name
This is a simple effect that you can place on text know as drop shadow. It also uses text effects that creates a double clear and black border around the text. Helpful for creating brand names or logos for events.
Embossing Text – Paradisio
For this effect in photoshop you have to rastorize the text in order to manipulate it properly. Then you emboss the text using the styles menu. It is a nice effect that can be used for advertisements effectivly.
Calander – The Humane Society Calander
Lastly, photoshop gives you the ability to type on a path which can be very useful. this is a simple demonstration of that. Where I have both feathered my image but also typed on a path outlining the image. As you can imagine this is most useful when creating greating cards, graphic designs, etc.
